Busts 1994 - 2013

This is a series of pieces I have been working on since my time at Humboldt State. I have always thought that the bust or portrait  is great platform for ideas to launch. Its as if the activity on and around the head is the subconscious at work and can tell a story. Dating back thousands of years, humans have been fascinated with the head and torso portrait of someone whether it be human, animal or both. Often these related to stories, myths and important characters from history. This format story telling thought the bust seems to have limitless possibilities.
